[Updates Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.] Have you ever considered your own death? One night George, venerable and very certain that he is not for the world much longer, wakes as a Returned - a living skeleton, embodying the death he was so sure of. Ryan, a young man uncertain of his place in the world or if he even has one, wakes as a Shifter - uncertain of true form, but with myriad potential ones. These two unconnected men who have lived oddly parallel lives found themselves on the internet for similar reasons. Neither of them were connected to the world of an old, cult online game with brutally realistic travel and a merciless, high-mortality setting, but both find themselves embroiled in an incident where millions of people find themselves waking up in the world of that game, and true to form, that world is trying to kill them. Even as both have at some time considered their own demise, here, in Memoria, death is not the end. What to expect: - 3x weekly updates - Tabletop-inspired portal fantasy GameLit -A fully designed, carefully crafted character sheet for the PoV characters -A story about memories and self-actualisation -A lovable ensemble cast
