Azrael Voss was sentenced to death for the murder of his wife and daughter. At the gallows, he made a pact with a mysterious entity and survived. Now he is an Occult Lawyer, a judge who enters the “Closed Cases”: scenes of atrocious crimes frozen in time, where the truth is buried beneath layers of pain and lies. His weapon is not a sword, but the “Truths”: words that can rewrite reality, but at the cost of his blood, memories, and emotions. His companion is Lyra, an orphan who cannot feel physical pain, but who writes down everything she sees and senses the future. But Azrael has a problem: he remembers nothing about the night of the murder. His journey is not about becoming stronger; it is about discovering whether he truly is a monster or whether his memory was erased to protect him from the truth. He will face Criminals who are victims and Victims who are executioners. He will encounter the Supreme Judge, a being who believes that justice is a cold equation and that emotions are a weakness. And in the end, he will have to answer the most difficult question: What is more important, objective truth or a lie that allows you to keep living?
