Ryan never expected a boring overtime shift at a rice factory to change his life forever. When a group of monstrous creatures called the Munchers attack, Ryan discovers he can control rice. But his strange new power comes with a terrifying secret: he may be the legendary Rice Supreme, a being whose power once shook the world. As Ryan struggles to understand his abilities, he learns about three ancient relics connected to the Rice Supreme: the Ring of Dragon’s Will, the Torch of Dragons, and the Crown. But the Munchers' leader, the terrifying Devourer, already possesses one of them—and he will stop at nothing to claim the others. With his home destroyed, his cat gone, his body scarred, and his friends hiding secrets from him, Ryan is forced into a battle he never wanted. Alongside an ex-assassin, a paranoid killer, and unlikely allies, Ryan must master the power of the power inside of him and uncover the truth behind the Rice Supreme. Because Devourer isn't finished. And if Ryan can't stop him, the Munchers won't stop until there's nothing left to devour.
