Blight Touched

At any moment, you can be unbound from your own fate—and never even know. In the newly demilitarized world of Arcanix, the ink is barely dry on the peace treaty, only to be replaced by a new power structure: Guilds. Seeking an escape, the disgraced Judge—the Flame Swordsman—fled into the wilderness to raise his son in peace. But some fates cannot be outrun. Now left picking up the pieces, his son Trix and a fellow outcast named Colt meet in the depths of despair. Young, dysfunctional, and bound by shared tragedy, they must navigate a chaotic new world to find a place they can truly call home. Then the tides of the world begin to shift. That man saves the lost. He grants them an ability that breaks the known system of magic with nothing asked for in return. Those called Blight Touched are surely in it for maintaining peace... Right? After all, no one who he saves is required to follow any orders.
