Among the four neighboring cities lies a vast forest that was once a peaceful refuge. Long ago, people escaping the cruelty and bloodshed of the cities settled there, building a life filled with peace and happiness. But that peace did not last. The mysterious force known as the **Deverse** transformed the forest into a living nightmare, causing it to expand endlessly while monsters began appearing within it. Most of the people were killed, and the survivors fled toward the cities. Yet the monsters never leave the forest, leaving humanity with a terrifying question: **why?** Far from the forest, a boy named **Manwa** struggles to survive in a city where poverty and cruelty have become part of everyday life. With little more than his determination, he steals to survive, eventually crossing paths with people who will change his life forever. But Manwa's suffering is only the beginning. Hidden within him is something far more dangerous than he understands—something connected to the darkness spreading throughout the world. As Manwa's journey unfolds, he will encounter the **Vanguard**, powerful hunters, monsters, mysterious enemies, and people whose beliefs challenge everything he thinks he knows. Among them are figures such as **Kaedrous**, who believes the world must be protected no matter the sacrifice, and **Suroma**, who believes suffering is proof that the world itself is fundamentally broken.
