He disappeared. Until now... Humanity lives under an alien-designed system where work, housing, retirement and even the economy have been rebuilt around a single purpose: keeping society productive and compliant. The cities have grown vast. The factories never sleep. And the humans have learned to live with their new reality. Erin has spent years trying to adapt to having limited freewill, but something primal inside her can't accept it because she still remembers the world before. She remembers her brother, Eoin—she remembers the morning he disappeared. The same day the aliens arrived.
