The Thousand Year War

Two empires. One lost artifact. A century of blood. For nearly two hundred years, the Kingdom of Ashmere and the Karlari Empire have been locked in a grinding war of attrition—a conflict that has swallowed generations and reshaped the continent of Eryndor. But long before armies clashed on the battlefields, the true spark was lit in the frozen wastes of the north. In 276 After Kryko, a expedition in the Skallheim mines unearths a relic thought lost to time: a massive piece of Krykonite, pulsing with an ancient violet light and whispered to hold the mythic power of the Three. Ordered to carry the artifact across the treacherous Frostcova Sea, Captain Eirik and the crew of the King’s Pride face violent ice storms, terrifying cavern horrors, and unseen beasts lurking in the depths. But when their voyage ends in disaster along contested imperial borders, the stone is lost to the sea—and a catastrophic misunderstanding ignites the Thousand Year War. Two centuries later, in 480 AK, four hundred weary Ashmerian Legionaries march home through the fog of the Rhine Valley, battered and silent after a mysterious eight-month expedition into the Spinemere Mountains. They carry something back into the heart of Aldor—something ancient that was lost for thousands of years. As old legends resurface and empires mobilize, Eryndor stands on the precipice of ruin. The war was never a simple fight between good and evil—it was a struggle born of fear, pride, and survival. And the dark truth resting at the bottom of the world is about to return.
