COMPLETE! ONE SHOT I got tired of every rejected-mate werewolf story starting exactly the same way, so I wrote the opening I wanted to read. The idea of Fated Mates always struck Elantra as absurd and somewhat idealistic. Was it really "You're Fated!" and that's it? Well, clearly not, because she caught them at it, and now they're going to pay.
