Six months after a cataclysm called The Fracture cracked open the barrier between the living world and the Philippine spirit realm, nineteen-year-old convenience store worker Andres "Ando" Reyes finally gets his turn at the government's Awakener Assessment Center — only to receive the worst possible result. Soul Energy: undetectable.Class Path: none. Rank: Unclassified. Laughed out of the building and told to go home, Ando discovers what the system missed — his soul energy isn't absent. It's buried so deep that even Bathala's ancient failsafe couldn't read it. He cannot apply for the government's Awakener corps. He cannot join the underground networks that demand ranked status. He cannot walk into a monster rift with any backup. So he walks in alone. No shortcuts. No cheat codes. No chosen-one destiny. Just a Filipino kid who refuses to stay at the bottom.
