A Secret Shapeshifter at Wizard School

Everyone knows shapeshifters are dangerous, tragic creatures: former humans inevitably overcome by animal instinct. When Rosemary finds out she's a shapeshifter, she's not about to let a little thing like that stop her from attending Foglight Academy, the most prestigious wizarding school in the world. All she has to do is pick a disguise, pick a new name, and learn how to control the animal within so nobody ever finds out. Simple. When Elle finds out she's a shapeshifter, she’s whisked away from her family and home to Edifice, a secret school for young shapeshifters. There, she'll learn to change forms at will without succumbing to her animal nature. If she succeeds, she'll become a wizard's familiar. Nobody tells her what will happen if she fails.   But as Rosemary and Elle's paths collide, animal instincts may be the least of their problems. Monsters from the Otherworld are stirring, and one has its sights set on their schools... -- Updates daily through August 16, then updates Sunday/Wednesday.
