Zenon is a young man from Spezia, a high school student living a cold, routine life. He doesn't care much for the people, and faces the world with a dry, distant logic. One day, he joins his classmates on a school trip to the Amazon — a forbidden region, off-limits because of old, dangerous scientific experiments buried there. What should have been nothing more than a field trip turns into a catastrophe. Violence erupts, senseless and unexplained, and Zenon finds himself alone in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by death and secrets.
