by Miss-Fortunate Russ
Whispered Shadows is a short story from the future Miss-Fortunate Adventures Side Quest collection. This short revolves around Yukina, a future heroine of the saga, and one that was featured in the first short story collection, Lore. I wanted to feature her in the first short of this future second collection to highlight how much I love this pair of thieves. She and her counterpart have found themselves in a sticky situation. These Darksiders still haven't exposed their identities to each other and have to survive a night in a demon-infested hovel. Will they get out with their secrets intact, or with the monster reveal more than just shadows hiding in this house?
