The Kingdom Must Grow.Prince Tavian has found the one thing powerful enough to save his father’s failing kingdom: A Legendary Kingdom Core. But the king refuses to use it, telling him to lock it away. Instead, Tavian steals it and walks straight into a bloody coup. In a system where controlling territory makes you stronger, Tavian starts with nothing but the salvaged remains of his father’s house—pages, cooks, gardeners, and a handful of loyal soldiers. Traitors within. Enemies without. Darkness festering in the dungeon below his feet. Tavian will get the chance to prove that he was born to lead. But what—or who—will he have to sacrifice to rebuild his kingdom?
