Conduits

Kirkland Albion cheats, bullies, and boozes his way across the Lor Kingdom with the intensity of a resentful child. When his golden good looks and bluster fail, the Albion Family name gets him out of trouble. But that name also suffocates him.  He must become a Conduit. If he is not a Conduit, he may as well be dead. The ceremony is successful, but the resulting Archetype is a disappointment: a common Spark Mage. Plus, the expectations for an Albion never cease: he must now go to a backwater Hold and prove himself. Desperate and drunk, Kirkland strolls into his first Rift sneering. He experiences a miracle, but with a steep cost. Kirk wakes up to the smell of blood and not the faintest memory of who he once was. With fresh eyes, Kirk discovers Peakhold around him. He experiences the alien energies and dangers of the Rift. He witnesses the might of Archetypes, the powers wielded by Conduits. And he discovers that he didn't only lose his memory during the accident. He has earned a second Archetype. Yet no one believes him; they've all heard the rumors about the disappointment of the Albion Family. Alone and misunderstood, Kirk Albion will endeavor to find his place in the Lor Kingdom.  And in the end, he will discover that, sometimes, all you need to make the world a better place is the willingness to try something new. ****** Release Schedule: Two a day, Monday-Friday
