Ascension of a Warlock

Allister Rose is nobody of importance, much to his dismay. All his life longing for an escape from the shadow that seems cast over his entire existence. A flawed, egotistical, ambitious scion, he would call himself, even then agrandizing his terrible struggle. At last, then, comes the opportunity for change;  Sixteen years of age, like all others, he recieves his Class: none other than the Warlock. Things finally picking up, he is swept off to nowhere but an academy of his peers, Greystone. Swiftly embroiled in nefarious plots, he rejoices. What is an avaricious, lazy, prideful, incredibly good-looking teen to do with nightmarish eldritch powers? Themes and Such: • Flawed, self-aware MC wants to be a main character • Lots of monologuing, MC is not a people person • In-depth magic system • Morally questionable magic powers • Horror of the eldritch and psychological variety • Deep worldbuilding This is the rewrite of the original story, under the same name.
