by GiaMire
In a future where every citizen is implanted at birth with a memory chip that records everything they see, hear and experience, justice is supposedly absolute. There is hardly any crime, because people cannot lie about what they have done. To investigate each crime, memory records stored in state archives are used. But when Memory Police officer Mark Delvis discovers that a woman's memory was "cut out" after a sexual assault by a former minister, he uncovers something the system was never meant to reveal: memories can be stolen.
