Fourth book of Tales of Misfits. Follow the Misfits on a mystery that is cropping in a village know as Hollow Ranch. Bodies appear with gruesome fates, leaving the residents to come with a conclusion; there's a demon afoot. The town residents blame the misfits and another group of adventurers. The town goes on lock down, having the Misfits experience cabin fever. Calconus is heading the demon hunt, while Juno and a new friend investigate clues. everyone is anxious, because what if the person they care about the most, ends up being a demon. One thing remains clear to the reader, one of the Misfits are not what they seem.
