I love warhammer 40k and the mechanicus. I like reading books in the universe but I find that there are very little books related the to the mechanicus faction and none at all where it just describes the life of one. Therefore I tried AI for my own entertainment and it turned out so well that I just had to share it with you guys. Without ado, the result: "The Measure of a Man" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the forty-first millennium, Cael Venn is an unremarkable man by Imperial standards: a maintenance engineer on a distant forge world. He is not a warrior, an inquisitor or a hero. His work is to repair ancient machines, preserve failing records and remember the names of the people history has forgotten. As the boundaries between duty, memory and identity begin to erode, Cael finds himself asking a dangerous question: What is the measure of a man? The Measure of a Man is a slow-burning Warhammer 40,000 novel about labour, grief, bureaucracy and the difficult work of remaining human in an age that has almost forgotten the meaning of the word. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is an unofficial fan work set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Warhammer 40,000 and all associated intellectual property are owned by the legendary Games Workshop.
