Gidiolens, the daughter of the former Demon King and a defeated demon princess, is given two choices by the Human Allied Forces: Choose a husband from a list... or choose a quick and painless way to die. She casually picks a name from the pile. "Del Drest? That bastard son of House Drest?" — Del Drest was taken back from an orphanage by his biological father at the age of twelve. He is the most infamous prince on the continent. The noble ladies he has "ruined" could line up from the city gates to the harbor, and the nobles he has bullied could circle the royal capital. No one had any expectations for the marriage between the orphaned demon princess and the illegitimate prince. Until he led the revival of the royal capital. Until he commanded an army of millions. Until he grasped supreme authority. Until he ventured into the Bone Lands overrun by the undead to retrieve the Uhwujin Crown, the symbol of the King of Kings, for his Demon Queen wife... Only then did people realize that the good-for-nothing bastard prince everyone mocked was, in fact, a monster fit to be a king. And the Demon Queen, who always told him, "Die out there and don't come back," seemed to become less and less willing to admit that she was getting jealous.
