Two hundred years after the oceans swallowed the world, humanity survives on a single island surrounded by an endless sea. Every night, mysterious glass Shards appear, opening windows to countless parallel Earths—each destroyed by a different catastrophe. Those brave enough to cross them are known as Ease Leapers. Armed with mechanical Shard-Jacks, they scour abandoned worlds for the resources their people can no longer produce. Talen remembers nothing before arriving on the island, just like everyone else. But the farther he ventures beyond the Shards, the more impossible the discoveries become. Strange ruins, impossible creatures, and forgotten truths hint that the greatest danger isn't waiting inside the dead worlds...
