Nico would do anything to win the Ascendence Games, including selling her soul. Nico has always been obsessed with watching the Ascendence Games, earth's apocalypse defense system turned cultural phenomenon, following her favorite Delver's streams, analyzing their fights, stats, and skills. But between her depression and dead end job, Nico hasn't had a chance to find a Sponsor to enter the games. Until a cursed crown comes through the magic shop she works at, and promises to make her the queen of monsters.  The demon inside the crown has one condition: she's in charge. With no better options in front of her, Nico takes the deal and unlocks her two unique skills: Monster Summoner and Curse Eater. With those to skills, she's able to do what other Delvers can't—utilize cursed items, survived the cursed dungeons, and active the first cursed skill: Monsterification. With this skill, she's able to take on qualities and skills from her summons, and with each one, she grows stronger. Nico enters the Ascendence Games as Carrion, aspiring monster queen, and begins collecting monstergirls to fill her court.
