What happens when a nerdy god obsessed with junk food is so powerful that nothing can stir even a flicker of worry or interest in him? He could wipe out a cosmic armada that interrupted his show, before his pizza goes cold. He could use the world as a toy that won't even amuse him. He could drag the human race into its first interplanetary war, or turn a devourer of galaxies into a house pet. All of this, and more. The one thing he can't do is notice the woman who has been letting herself into his apartment for ten years, or the gaze of something unknown that wants to take him apart. They are the only two things he should be watching. He is looking at neither.
