The river should have killed them. After escaping a tyrannical empire where secrets are punished by death, Tha'ir and Wafiya awaken in a distant land unlike anything they have ever known. Their homeland lies beyond mountains, deserts, and memories stained with blood. Their companions are gone. Their future is uncertain. Yet Aryavarta offers no peace. Across the kingdom, an ancient prophecy speaks of a destined savior whose arrival will change the course of history. Villagers celebrate it. Priests preach it. Kings fear it. But behind the sacred words lurk hidden agendas, political schemes, and truths buried for centuries. As Tha'ir struggles to recover fragments of his shattered past, powerful figures begin to take interest in the mysterious strangers who arrived on the very day the prophecy was meant to be fulfilled. Coincidence. Fate. Or something far more dangerous. Because while Aryavarta waits for its Chosen One to appear, forces hidden in the shadows are already moving. And some prophecies were never meant to come true.
