Soren is a quick-thinking scavenger who lives by a simple rule: take the loot and don't get caught. In the middle of his biggest score yet, the Divine Emperor of Vulcanis is assassinated, sending the world into chaos. The resulting magic explosion tears the entire city out of reality, plunging it directly into the Abyss. In a nightmare realm crawling with horrific beasts, surviving takes more than sharp blades—it takes power. To protect what's left of his city and claim a birthright older than the stars, Soren must hunt Abyssal creatures, acquire Abyssal gear, and climb the perilous Orders of Ascension. He'll fight the corruption plaguing his world, but if he can line his pockets along the way? He's taking every last coin. After all, you can take the scavenger out of the gutters, but you can't take the hustle out of the scavenger. What to expect: • Weak to strong progression• Side characters that impact the story• Deep and expansive worldbuilding• Progression Fantasy with elements of LitRPG• Dark fantasy. No character is safe from death
