by JaisonLuckow
In a world ravaged by the mutant virus M-TX30, humanity has not fallen — it has adapted, building cruel systems and fractured societies to survive. Amidst the chaos, Jaison emerges: a man scarred by loss, driven by hunger, and haunted by a terrifying discovery. The mutants hesitate before him. Some even obey. As his unstable power grows, Jaison descends into cruelty, sacrificing others to protect himself and those who remain. In a world of betrayal, war, and evolving monsters, he is no longer just a survivor. He is the necessary evil in a world where no one is truly safe.

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
Benchmarks: 8,060 active Royal Road stories, percentiles within the 20–49 chapters band, cohort of 2026-07-02. Conversion is measured as followers gained per 1,000 views lifetime.
