Life has spread across the stars. Empires have carved the galaxy into territories worth killing for. The crew of the Remus know none of this. They came into being only recently, waking with no memory of who made them or why. They are guided by nothing but an incomplete repository of half-answers. This repository conveniently lacks details about their current location or their strange biology. Some of them can twist flesh into new shapes. Others exist only as voices inside the ship's own walls. It's a peculiar way to be alive, and understanding it will mean going out to find the answers themselves. But hostile worlds are waiting, and answers won't come easy. Nothing out there is friendly. The Remus has no home and no allies to fall back on. One wrong step, born of nothing worse than their own naivety, could get them killed long before they find the truth they're seeking.
