[A upcoming contestant WIP story for the J Novel Original Light Novel Contest. Feedback is much appreciated] Four years before he commands the defence of Khazador, Leon Arden is an ordinary student with an impossible gift—the ability to wield every magical affinity. When the United Council discovers his talent, Leon is offered a fully sponsored place at Araxis, the greatest academy in Aetheria. Accepting would mean leaving behind his family, friends and peaceful life for a future shaped by people who may see him as nothing more than a weapon. To discover what he can become, Leon must first choose what he is willing to leave behind.
