Elliot Black was supposed to die.
Instead, he awakens in the body of Elizabeth White, an eleven-year-old girl only days away from receiving her first class.
In this world, magic is granted through the System. Classes determine potential, skills shape power, and awakening decides the course of a person’s life.
Elizabeth’s choices should have been ordinary.
They aren’t.
One class is tied to a rare affinity she never possessed before. Another seems to have been created from Elliot’s knowledge, curiosity and past.
She chooses Experimentalist.
At school, surrounded by magic, laboratories and students with abilities unlike anything she has ever studied, Elizabeth begins asking questions no one else thinks to ask.
What exactly does a skill change?
Why does the same spell affect different bodies differently?
And how far can the System be pushed before something breaks?
Elizabeth has always believed that knowledge is worth the cost.
This world is about to discover how much she is willing to pay.
