In the rain-soaked, gothic megacity of Nocturnia, sound isn't just noise—it's a lethal weapon.Down in the flooded, neon-lit gutters of the lower levels, seventeen-year-old Lyra survives by two rules: stay quiet, and stay alive. The city above is ruled by a tyrannical Emperor who commands Sonosophy—a dangerous magic system that allows the elite to harness, weaponize, and drain life through sonic frequencies. To the upper echelons, the poor are nothing more than fuel for the grid. But during a heist gone completely wrong, cornered by the Emperor’s enforcers, Lyra doesn't die. Instead, desperation unlocks something ancient and forbidden inside her. She doesn't just channel sound—she commands it. She is a Symphonist.Rescued by a legendary fugitive and dragged into the heart of a desperate resistance, Lyra must learn to master a rare power that mirrors the Emperor's own. But with the ruthless Red Symphony preparing a plot to harvest the city's remaining life force, time is running out.To save Nocturnia, Lyra will have to play a lethal game of shadows, tune her magic to the frequency of rebellion, and face the monster on the throne.
