Seventeen-year-old Nil wakes to a village in flames, his home shattered by a horrifying creature, one made only of burned flesh and rotten bones. With survival uncertain, he clings to the last ember of hope he has left, his brother and uncle. With the brothers eventually separated and fighting to survive, Nil is taken by a powerful Alyzir named Si-yeir. With the mysterious Si-yeir taking him on a journey, Nil longs to see his brother once again, and to defeat the monster that destoryed his home.

Hidden gem — exposure is the bottleneck
Readers who find this story follow it at a high rate; there just aren't enough of them. In our cohort data, near-daily posting lifted the odds of reaching 25 followers from ~0% to 17% — more chapters, shoutout swaps and ads buy the eyeballs this conversion deserves.
