The shadow of the Celestial diamond

Chapter 1 Synopsis – The last note In a world where treasure hunters risk their lives to uncover legendary relics, the mythical Celestial Diamond remains the greatest mystery of all. Four powerful organizations compete for treasure, justice, and power, while students train in elite academies to become skilled hunters. Takuya is a disciplined and kind-hearted student living a peaceful life with his loving parents and his two closest friends, Yuta and Haruto. But everything changes in a single evening when he returns home to discover his parents murdered. Alongside their bodies, he finds a final letter from his father containing a mysterious key and instructions to open a forbidden locker when he turns twenty—a locker said to reveal the truth about their family. Overwhelmed by grief, Takuya vows to avenge his parents and uncover the mystery behind their deaths. Haunted by a nightmare that feels more like a warning than a dream, he struggles to hide his pain as he faces the academy's final combat examination. Remaining calm despite his loss, he defeats the academy's strongest student through strategy and skill, earning an A+ rank and choosing the katana as his weapon. When Takuya finally reveals the truth to Yuta and Haruto, they promise to stand beside him no matter what lies ahead. At his parents' funeral, under a sky filled with rain, Takuya swears upon their graves that he will uncover the truth and bring their killers to justice. As everyone leaves, an unknown man wearing a black mask watches silently from the shadows. "So... the boy survived." A faint smile appears beneath the mask. "The key has chosen its next owner."
