Alex goes to sleep one day and wakes up in a world almost exactly like his own, except for one thing— In 2002, rifts arrived in this world and changed it forever. He wakes up in a world with rifts, Classes, Guilds, and Levels as a result of a large-scale spatial distortion. But he isn’t the only new arrival. Across the world thousands of Outworlders wake up, most with high tier talents—all hoping to rise to the top of this new world. It’s a world where anyone with the talent can seize his own destiny. Alex certainly intends to seize his. *** What to expect— —Extensive worldbuilding in a modern-world setting, which also deeply explores its setting; for instance, in a world with the internet, realistically there’d be Youtube videos and forums about specific aspects of the magic system, widely circulated build guides, social media around magic/Awakened, a celebrity culture around Awakened, etc. —Chill, slice-of-life, exploratory pacing —A complex and internally consistent magic system with plenty of choice with regard to what you can do with the magic —Plenty of Skill grinding and level grinding, as well as Skill exploration!  —Chapters are 4x/week, Saturday -> Tuesday!
