The Red Stone

In the world of Ruzea, colourful Stones have enabled humans to be able to cast Magic. Kai is a rarity among people - he cannot use Stones and Magic at all. Not wanting to waste his youth and feeling rejected for being weak, he runs away from home to explore the world in his own way. He meets Aura, a shy and nervous girl who is also travelling alone. Together, they experience something that should be impossible. Something that should not exist: Red magic. Magic Stones are found in a variety of colours, but not Red. It has never existed... To uncover the truth and seek out answers, Kai and Aura join a group of fellow wanderers as they embark on an adventure together across the world. But in order to survive this journey, they must level up. Strong warriors and powerful beasts await them in this vast world, not to mention the ongoing war between two great countries, and somehow Kai must find a way to conquer his weakness, learn how to fight and acquire the power needed to ascend beyond magic Stones and protect his friends - all whilst discovering themselves in the process. -------------- A fantasy story set in a semi-medieval / semi-oriental world. What to expect: -a little mix of Progression Fantasy and Xianxia, but with a heavy focus on character development and story/plot -Graded Magic Stone system -An ensemble cast of characters - the story follows a group as they journey together -Characters who feel real, who have emotions that drive the story forward -Levelling up/Cultivation - characters train and gain strength/power, with some characters more unique than others... -This is not about super fast levelling up - I want it to make sense and not just have characters "power up" for the sake of just getting stronger in just 1 chapter -I believe strong character development makes for a stronger story/plot - this is not super slow with no direction, but I will build on the story and characters in a natural pace that makes sense and feels earned -It is a serious story that has humour and wholesome moments between characters and most importantly, it's going to be a FUN ADVENTURE! -I do have most of the answers figured out and I already know the ending, so please join me for the journey and adventure of it all!
