The Last Verse of Tessel

Tessel is a storyteller of the Kest-line: four-armed grasshopper-folk whose whole history lives in knotted cords and song. When a vision of the world being eaten ties itself into his hands, the elders charge him to cross a failing world and speak it, standing, before the rulers themselves. Every road he walks adds another song to carry. A fantasy of witness, in prose and vertical-scroll webcomic, about telling the truth even when the telling saves no one.
