By day, Julian is a quiet man living in the shadow of a childhood trauma he can’t escape. By night, he disappears, replaced by "The Twilight Crawler"—a feral, calculated monster that stalks the city streets the moment the sun dips below the horizon. Julian wakes up every morning with raw knuckles and no memory of the horrors his alter-ego committed in the dark.
His two worlds violently collide when he crosses paths with Dr. Vance Sterling, a renowned criminal psychologist who specializes in rehabilitating the most dangerous minds. Drawn by an intense, instant attraction, Julian’s nighttime persona does the unthinkable: he breaks into Vance's home and takes him.
When Julian wakes up the next morning and realizes who is trapped in his basement, he is consumed by guilt and begs for forgiveness. But Vance doesn’t run. Recognizing the signs of a fascinating, fractured psyche, Vance chooses to stay—initiating a high-stakes, unconventional psychological study right inside Julian's home. As the sun begins to set, a dangerous game of control begins, and both men must face the question: can a monster truly be tamed, or is Vance simply locking himself in with the dark?
