Maharlika x Magika

To prevent a bloody war of succession, the aging Sultan Kaleb peacefully divided the resourceful Kingdom of Pearl into three territories governed by his sons: Raja Kidlat in the north, Raja Makisig in the center, and Raja Nobakrun in the south.Fifty years of peace pass until foreign invaders, coveting the kingdom's strategic location and soul-soothing Aquamarine gemstones, launch a brutal surprise assault on the northern islands with ten thousand troops. As towns burn and provinces fall, Raja Kidlat requests aid from his brothers, who promptly dispatch their elite troops, plunging the northern front into a grueling four-month stalemate.Meanwhile, in the central territory, a fourteen-year-old orphan of noble birth named Datu Sege trains tirelessly, eager to test his strength and defend his homeland.Unlike traditional warriors, Sege favors a foreign katana and practices the precise, lightning-fast Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū style alongside his traditional Kampilan and Ginunting blades. Driven by a fierce sense of duty, he convinces his reluctant grandfather to let him join the northern front, ultimately setting sail for the war zone accompanied by twenty elite Maharlikan warriors.Four days into their voyage, a violent storm wrecks Sege's ship, washing the crew ashore an unmapped, mysterious island outside the kingdom's territory. While stranded and preparing to gather wood for repairs, one of the Maharlikan warriors discovers a strange, hidden cave. Intrigued by the unexpected find, Datu Sege orders his escort team to accompany him inside, venturing into the dark cavern to investigate whatever secrets lie within.
