What if the greatest threat to the world was the boy no one remembered?
The Renegade is the first novel in The Divine Dead series.
Bradwin has spent his entire life forgotten.
An orphan who has never spoken a single word, he grows up trapped within the cold halls of a noble estate where he is tolerated but never loved. But when two mysterious strangers arrive in the dead of night, he discovers his adoptive family has been hiding dangerous secrets, secrets tied to an ancient cult, a devastating war, and a power the world believed had vanished forever.
Forced to flee with nothing but the clothes on his back, Bradwin crosses the fractured lands of the Daemonium in search of the only people who ever saw him. Instead, he is pulled into the hidden heart of a war that never truly ended.
Taken in by the enigmatic Tenerius Starr, a man as brilliant as he is feared, whose impossible abilities blur the line between savior and monster, Bradwin enters the Scholomance. There, every lesson conceals an agenda, every alliance carries a price, and the truth of his own origins threatens to unravel everything.
As forgotten prophecies awaken and the followers of the Divine Dead rise once more, kingdoms stand on the brink of another war. Caught between light and darkness, loyalty and betrayal, Bradwin must decide who he will become before the past devours the future.
In a world abandoned by its gods, the forgotten may be the only ones capable of changing its fate.
