The Forgotten Saga of Jamdad [English]

Jamdad—a city carved from sunlight, where the walls are laced with gold and the domes breathe with the desert’s secrets. It is a place where legends are born, and where no one who enters ever truly leaves. To the world, Amira Zahra is just Razia, a humble merchant’s daughter selling silk in the southern quarter. But beneath the indigo veil lies a dangerous truth: she is the last blood of the royal line, a princess declared dead in the shadows of a bloody rebellion. For years, she has mastered the art of disappearing in plain sight, trading secrets as easily as silk. But the city is changing. A restlessness hangs in the air, and the arrival of a mysterious stranger bearing a coin of dark, light-drinking metal threatens to shatter her carefully crafted life. When the royal guards begin their hunt, Amira finds herself pulled into a game of shadows where the prize is not just a throne, but the soul of the city itself. In a land where walls have ears and the desert remembers every betrayal, she must decide: will she remain a ghost in her own home, or rise to reclaim a kingdom that has forgotten her face?
