This has to be the worst deal in history. When the end of the world got announced, the plan was clear: Just Steve, his buddy Kai, and a few ice-cold beers to greet the end of time. Instead, they discover that the asteroids hurtling toward Earth are more than dead rocks. Both get thrust into a bizarre game where Steve is classified as “completely talentless". Desperate for an advantage, he asks the Gamemasters for an Upgrade. The problem? His arm gets replaced by a ravenous symbiote with a mind and talent system all its own. Now, he needs the symbiote to survive, but if they bond too deeply, his arm won’t be the only thing he loses. Everyone sees the game as an escape.
