Runic Bullet [Timeloop, Progression, Fantasy]

860 deaths, one god to kill. Val awakens with no memories in a forest, surrounded by insurmountable cliffs, on the edge of a massive, eerie pit. Killed almost immediately by a monstrous creature, Val is mysteriously resurrected to a few seconds prior. An ominous number in her vision counts up toward the number 860. In the beginning, Val remembers nothing and wields only a pistol, forcing her to slowly overcome challenges through trial, error, and many, many deaths. She soon remembers her mission to reach the bottom of the Pit and put a bullet in the head of Refrir, a god-like being known as the Fox, who torments her as she descends. She gradually grows stronger by recovering her memories and gaining the abilities of other descendents. But the more memories she gains, and the more she dies, the more she doubts her ability to continue. Val thought the hardest part would be surviving… but what if it’s actually remembering? What to expect -Volume 1 is complete! Volume 2 starting Monday 17 August :) -Weekday release schedule! -A finite time-loop that doesn’t reset the MC’s progress.  -A grimdark, mage/cyber punk fantasy setting inspired by Norse mythology. -Slow-burn discovery of overarching mysteries. -Heavy psychological and tragic elements.
