For centuries, humanity has fought a losing war, as puppets of Gods. Beyond the River Jogra lie the Abyssal Lands, where Demons gather beneath their own banners, waiting for the day mankind finally falters. Alexander Alvah, crown prince of the Kingdom of Eltern, was raised to believe that a ruler stands at the front of every battle, not behind it. While his people place their faith in the gods, Alexander trusts only the soldiers who bleed beside him. An unholy conspiracy leads to tragedy and Alex loses everything he has fought for, leaving him with nothing but hatred for the Gods. From the ashes of his revenge, Alex will rise again, stronger and more brutal. Kingdoms will fall. Friendships are forged and broken. The line between hero and monster grows thinner with every choice he makes. Some call him a hero, others a heretic. History remembers Alexander Alvah as a legend. It forgot the man who had to become one.
