Every life Shinra inherits is already ending. A farmer-boy who has already lost hope. A veteran commander facing impossible odds. A condemned prisoner waiting for the executioner's blade. Whenever someone dies, Shinra awakens in the body they leave behind. Different life. Different world. Different death. At first, survival is enough. Then he begins remembering things he should not know. Names that have been erased. Lives that history forgot. And a vast presence hidden beneath reality itself. The Spiral. An ancient corruption that twists memory, devours identity, and turns entire civilizations into echoes of themselves. Shinra arrives at Aethelgard Academy seeking answers about who he is and why death keeps returning him to the world. Instead, he discovers that the Spiral has already reached the academy. Students hear chains beneath the stone. Memories disappear. People are forgotten while still alive. And somewhere in the darkness, something known only as the Hollowman is watching. To survive, Shinra must uncover the truth behind his reincarnations, the nature of the Spiral, and the secrets buried beneath Aethelgard. Because some deaths are not endings. And some names were never meant to be remembered.
