For ten long years Kairos has hunted the leader of the Reborn. A dark cult which had taken his father. In the far north of Chora humans who are born with magic experience strange mutations. Despite having no magic to his name Kairos is persecuted for his mage-like apperance. Armed only with determination and strange ability to control fire, the boy has to carefully navigate between the northern warriors and the cult. Yet Kairos philosophy gets challenged, when one day on his way he meets a strange doctor whose strange abilities combined with his sharp tongue bring back old memories and promises he had forgotten.
