THE JOURNEY The complete five-book dark fantasy series where trauma becomes magic, and healing is the ultimate act of rebellion. Over 200,000 words. Five Power Swords. One man’s journey from rage to redemption. When Carl Jackson's best friend falls into a coma, he discovers Kevin's soul is trapped in Rowen—the fantasy world they created together twenty years ago. To bring Kevin home to his family, Carl must embark on an impossible rescue mission through a five-book fantasy series that explores the darkest corners of trauma and friendship. Each installment confronts one of five corrupted Power Swords, and each sword represents a different wound Kevin has been running from his entire life. These fractured soul battles pit Carl against anger, grief, fear, guilt, and despair as he fights to recover each fragment of his friend's broken psyche. But with every piece he reclaims, Carl uncovers darker truths about what Rowen really is and whether saving Kevin means destroying the only sanctuary his friend has left. This is more than a quest through a fantasy realm—it's a descent into the fractured mind of the man he's trying to save, where the real enemy isn't a dark lord but the traumas that have hollowed out his best friend from within.

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
