There are names the world forgets easily. And there are names the world tries very hard to erase. Kay Akima was meant to be the first kind_just another failed noble child, stripped of meaning and quietly buried beneath history’s weight. No magic. No future. No worth in the eyes of those who decide such things. But the world does not always bury things properly. Sometimes it throws them somewhere else entirely. Beyond the borders of kingdoms and laws lies a place spoken of only in fear_the Demon Realm. A land where survival is not guaranteed, and time does not move with mercy. That was where Kay was cast, not as punishment alone, but as disposal. A mistake corrected through exile. Yet Kay did not end. He endured. Years became decades. Decades became centuries. Centuries folded into something else entirely, until even the idea of time stopped behaving normally. What remained of Kay Akima was no longer simply a boy wronged by a council, nor a noble cast aside by his bloodline. He became something the world was never meant to account for. And when he finally returned… the world had not stayed the same. Neither had he. Accompanied by a massive desert wolf named Tumo_feared by many, understood by none_Kay walks through lands that no longer recognize him, searching not for vengeance, but for something far more fragile. A place to exist in peace. But shadows have a way of lingering. And some truths, once uncovered, refuse to stay buried
