by Shadow of the Writer
Under a silent sun, no God rules. Beyond the grasp of the Ambition, Rose and Lily find a world untouched by His Dominion: green forests, mortal villages, two moons, and a sky without a gaze. They did not come to conquer. They came to build a home. A little house on a hill.A garden.A hearth.Silence.Each other. But gods cannot pass through the world unseen. Mercy leaves traces. Kindness can lead to atrocity. Shelter can become worship. And when the lost, the hungry, and the desperate begin to climb the hill, Rose must face what she fled from: the terrible weight of being loved, feared, needed, and obeyed. Lily would walk every road for her. Rose would give anything for what is hers. But what begins as refuge may yet become dominion. A story of sanctuary and worship, motherhood and monsters, mercy and possession, of two gods trying to make a home in a world that will not leave them alone.
