The primordial forces that built the universe are dying. In their place, entities from the dark spaces between the stars are moving in to claim the ashes. Enter Mordan Gauge. Gifted—or cursed—with the dying remnants of both creation and destruction, he is the most dangerous target in the cosmos. Every step he takes lights a beacon for cosmic hunters. To survive the onslaught, he must master the volatile, world-tearing powers mutating within him. He must trace the lineage of the flame back to the very beginning. The hunt is on, and the universe is watching.

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
Benchmarks: 8,060 active Royal Road stories, percentiles within the 20–49 chapters band, cohort of 2026-07-02. Conversion is measured as followers gained per 1,000 views over the recent window.
