The last xeno war went cold when Ethan was still a child. Fleets of ships terraform sectors at a time, expanding the outer reaches of the Regency, bringing with them endless tides of citizens who long for the opportunity and freedom of life away from the suffocating bustle of developed worlds. Ethan is no different. He has plans. Plans of psionic awakenings, mountains of credits and his own space ship. Not one of those plans involves remaining on his mother’s ship, maintaining bulkheads or tweaking mag rails. No, he wants adventure and the Ashen Expanse, with all its history and controversy, is going to give him all the adventure he could ever ask for. - A sprawling galaxy full of life with political and economic environments that matter. - Creative skill and gear progression, with a deep psionic system starting to appear around chapter 70. - A chaos gremlin crashing into an uncompromising galaxy. 300k+ words written. New chapters every other day.
