The story of the only reincarnated Ghoul in New York—and perhaps the entire world. C: "We're both Level 8 Agents, but the way we're treated is night and day." Coulson: "That's because you're a monster." C: "I'm suddenly feeling hungry." Coulson: "Just drink your coffee." --- Reborn into a world of gods, aliens, and superheroes, Claire Brown wanted just one thing: a quiet life. But a quiet life is hard to come by when you retain the memories of your past life—and the biology of an SSS-rated Ghoul. Hiding her predatory instincts behind the facade of an ordinary college student, Claire tries to navigate the chaotic streets of New York. But in a universe where anti-tank rounds fly and armor-clad billionaires fly higher, a flesh-eating monster can't stay hidden forever. From acting as S.H.I.E.L.D.’s most terrifying asset to shattering the canon MCU timeline, Claire’s very existence triggers a massive butterfly effect. Saving enemies, rewriting the Chitauri invasion, and altering the fates of the Maximoff twins is only the beginning. As the street-level shadows blend into cosmic threats, Claire finds herself caught between the localized webs of a young Peter Parker, the mystic dimensions of Doctor Strange, and the reality-warping ambitions of Ultron, Thanos, and Dormammu. In a clash between Marvel technology, Sorcery, and Ghoul evolution, the universe will realize that sometimes, to survive the dark... you need a different kind of monster. (Note: May contain slight canon divergence.) (The story begins before the events of Iron Man 1.) What to expect: Strong, Morally Grey FMC: A sarcastic, deadpan snarker who acts as the ultimate frontline tank. Massive Canon Divergence: A complete overhaul of the Age of Ultron, Civil War, and cosmic arcs. Unique Power Matchups: Kagune vs. Iron Man suits, Asgardian magic, and higher-dimensional entities. Dark/Light Balance: Gritty action, body horror, and angst, balanced with found family and witty banter.
