Luke had been content to live an ordinary life. The System had other ideas. Torn from his world, he found himself stranded in an empty void, on a solitary island. No escape. No explanation. All that was present on the island was a pedestal. When he touched it, the System bound him. From that moment onwards, life was nothing more than a struggle for survival. With no weapons and guidance, the only thing Luke could rely on was his desperation to live. In order to defeat the endless foes that awaited him, Luke would have to pay the price with his body. However, in the heat of battle, he discovered he was growing more powerful; every foe he defeated left behind something more valuable: souls. Every victory left him wanting more. Only, the purpose of his struggle remained shrouded in mystery. One thing is for certain. The tutorial was not a mere training ground; it was preparation for something greater.
